Beas Kund Trek

overview:

Beas Kund is a high altitude thousand-year-old alpine lake that sits amidst Himalayas at an altitude of 3,810 meters. This lake is the origin of Beas River, which is believed to be the water body where Sage Vyas use to take bath while he meditated and wrote Hindu epic Mahabharata.

BEAS KUND Lake Trek grade to Beas kund is easy to moderate. Trail takes you through lush green grasslands and amazing landscape as you follow the Beas river to its source. Trek is also favorable for beginner trekkers but we would advise preparation. Combination of snowy peaks, the greenery of the meadows and the glacial lake draws every one attention to this trek . The surrounding peaks of pir panjal range adds to the beauty of lake and make it picturesque trail for every trekker. Majestic peaks like Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, and Seven Sisters will be your companion on this trek.
